The Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR) advances its mission through a focused engagement with seven thematic areas that reflect our commitment to faith and justice. Rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and responsive to Zambia’s socio-economic and political realities, these areas provide the framework through which we analyse public policy, empower communities, and promote transformative action.

Each thematic area addresses a critical dimension of human dignity and national development—ranging from the cost of living and accountable governance to environmental stewardship and the promotion of ethical values. Together, they form an integrated approach to social justice, aimed at creating a society where every person can live with dignity, freedom, and hope.
