I remember as a boy then, we used to fetch water from the Zambezi River and it was fun, although this came with incidents like some being caught by crocodiles. We covered long distances crossing the high way and spent more time on fetching water at the expense of other competing needs like studying. On spending more time, I remember, sometimes the bucket filled with water could fall and that meant going back to the river. Further, we never used to have vegetable gardens and flowers at our yards, and this presented challenges with food security and nutrition
